1.Mussoorie – At a distance of 278 km from Delhi, Mussoorie is the closest and a popular hill station in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand state. Within just 6 hours of drive you will reach in the middle of sheer beauty, surrounded by clouds and soaring hills. Situated at a height of 1880 mts Mussoorie offers beautiful views of doon valley and the majestic Himalayas. When in mussoorie one can visit Kempty Falls, go trekking or Shopping at Mall road or just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the hills around.
2.Nainital – With lots of beautiful lakes, tall trees and mountains, Nainital is a must visit hill station. Only 300km from Delhi,Nainital is famous for its scenic mountain views and is commonly known as the Lake District of India. Nainital gets its name from Naini Lake and is situated at an altitude of 1938 mts. Must visits are Naini Lake, Naina Peak, Bhimtal and Sattal nearby.One can trek in the beautiful mountain range surrounding the lake.
3.Lansdowne – Lansdowne is a beautiful hill station just about 260 km from Delhi, located at an altitude of 1700 mts above sea level.Surrounded by verdant pine and Oak jungles, this place was founded as a summer retreat in 1887 by the then Viceroy of India. Few things to do when in lansdowne are Boating in Bhulla Lake, Bird Watching, Trek to Hawagarh and Snow Viewpoint, Nature Walks, Enjoy wonderful views from Tip and Top View Point, Jungle Safari at Kalagarh Tiger Reserve, Camping.
4.Shimla – Settled at an altitude of 2276 m above the sea level, Shimla, the summer Capital of the British India, is one of the most popular hill station getaway at only a distance of 350 kms from Delhi. Its known as the ‘Queens of the hills” with its colonial charm, remarkable climate and stunning views. When in Shimla you can Shop at the Mall Road, or go on an Excursion to Kufri, Evening Walk at the Ridge, Shopping at Lakkar Bazaar; Rafting at Tattapani, Ice Skating or go Camping at Shoghi.
5.Manali – At an altitude of 2050 mts, Manali is a beautiful getaway nestled in between tall Coniferous trees and the lush Beas river. Blessed with great weather, snow-clad Himalayan peaks, lush views and tranquil surroundings, Manali, known as the Valley of God is about 540km from Delhi.
